September Marquee hire review - Weddings across Scotland
September was another busy month for our Glasgow based marquee hire team, with wedding marquee installations taking us across Scotland, from the Isle of Bute to the outskirts of Edinburgh.
Late summer weddings on the Isle of Bute
Back to back weddings at the lovely Nether Stravannan Cottages on the Isle of Bute. Placed in the garden of the venue giving a space for speches, dining and dancing. The build was over a couple of days and due to the time of year there was some inclement weather to deal with.
Marquee entrance with Coir walkways Marquee round bar, lighting and decor set up for the event to go Bute Wedding marquee at the cottages
In total there was a 12m x 24m main marquee with a 6m x 6m catering tent with a fully level subfloor, giving a true venue feel.
Both weddings were a great success despite the weather Bute had in place and all guests had a blast!
Outskirts of Edinburgh for a Home wedding
We had made the trip over to Edinburgh to a family home turned wedding venue. Using our subflooring we transformed an undulating and sloping area to a flat, heated and lit venue for 120 guests.

Winter Marquee Maintenance
Now that the season is cooling off and the busy summer season is over, we begin maintenance. Still delivering marquees, but not at the same level as peak summer.
It's time to wash, dry and fold all marquee covers, launder all linings and pack them away and varnish the stock of flooring. All to be ready for the beginning of next season
